The Chinese delicacy Beche de mere commonly known as Sea Slug Is Australia’s first and oldest export industry.  Presently, the trade continues and extreme diving is now the industry practise, which makes it one of the worlds’ most dangerous jobs.  Skipper Ben Leahy will lead four young men off the far north coast of Australia. They literally put their lives on a line everyday in search of this Ancient Chinese delicacy.

The underwater world is home to thousands of animals, from some of the smallest animals on the planet to the largest. It's a world full of beauty & mystery that attracts people from all walks of life all with one thing in common, a strong appreciation for the the marine environment and all that lives within it.

'The Blue Room' is a short film that will take you on a journy to this magical world through the eyes of those that visit it.

"Burleigh Beat" is a spontaneous gathering of hundreds of people of all ages and from all walks of life who gather to drum and dance, fire twirl or simply soak up the great atmosphere. People are welcome to bring along and play whatever they like from African drums, percussion instruments of all types, didgeridoos or just clap your hands and tap your feet.
The gathering happens every Sunday night in Justins Park on The Esplanade at beautiful Burleigh Heads beach on Australia’s Gold Coast. People gather before dusk through till 8.30pm (the council permit time) to share their love of tribal drumming and percussive dance rhythms.

On June 11th, 12th & 13th  2012 Kirra point on Queenslands Gold Coast was hit with a monster swell bring 4 meter waves and the best surf Kirra has seen in 10 years! 

This is a tribute to Kirra which Chris shot over the 3 days when the swell was at it's peak.
